During your first visit, the craftsperson will take time to carefully measure the lines of your body, identify its unique characteristics and listen to your preferences and comments. This is one of the most important stages, in which every millimetre is relevant to the final result.
FABRIC SELECTION
Fabrics with more than 200 different textures, patterns and colours from Italy are available to make sure you can find the best one for you. Twill, oxford, poplin and many other types of fabrics could be recommended, taking into account your needs and dressing habits.
OPTIONAL SHIRT DETAILS
The collar is one of the most prominent details that defines a shirt's character. Most consideration should be put into selecting the collar's shape because this is the feature closest to the face. Another important detail is the cuffs, which mostly attract attention to cufflinks. A total of 10 types of collar and 7 types of cuff are available for your selection in our salon.
EMBROIDERY OF INITIALS
The tradition of embroidering initials on clothing goes back many years. With thousands of people nowadays wearing clothes that bear the names of foreign companies or designers, why not take the opportunity to wear unique clothes with your name on them?
Each seam looks like it has been touched by a jeweller.
SHAPE OF THE COLLAR AND CUFFS
Very high-quality interlining in the collar and cuffs ensures maintenance of the shirt's shape and a comfortable feel.
FABRIC PATTERN
The pattern of the fabric in the shoulder area is arranged to match the pattern on the sleeves, collar and back.
BUTTON-FASTENING
The bottoms of sewn-on buttons are wound up with another thread to ensure better fastening. Buttons sewn on in this way make the shirt easier and faster to fasten.
BUTTONHOLES
Dense lacing that consists of 136 loop stitches not only contributes to the precision of the product, but also ensures its durability.
STICH DENSITY
Every seam and its completeness is relevant to the final result. VILKMA BESPOKE shirts are tailored with the application of stitches no smaller than 7 mm per cm, thus ensuring shirt's durability and impeccable appearance.
